I don't walk above you.
I walk beside you.
There was a season when I felt rejection up close, when the numbers didn't add up, and when some relationships hurt more than I knew how to say out loud.
I don't tell it as an open wound or as a perfect comeback story. I tell it because I know the way back: slow, with good days and crooked ones, and with a faith that holds even when it doesn't understand.
